f the raiders

On the way into Arrowhead two weeks ago, we saw a sweet-ass homemade anti-Raiders fans sticker on the back of this truck. Similar to the one above, only instead of a bloody arrow, there was just a circle/slash thingy.

Anyways, we were in line to get in, and the two guys inside this truck were getting out and walking around to the back of their truck to grab a couple of "tall blondes" out of their cooler, proceeding to drink them and grab another round. It makes me thirsty just thinking about it, and this Raiders logo reminded me of it.

cubs lose! cubs lose!

OK. I know I am a little pissed off about the way the season ended up, but every single one of you would be the same way if you were in my shoes. But what's done is done, it's time to move on.

The first and possibly last step in my road to recovery is hate, or maybe revenge, I am not sure. Basically, I have had a strong disliking for the Cubs for some time now, (thanks AJC) and that has boiled over into hoping they crash and burn this year. Big time. I mean BIG TIME. Why? Well, take a look at this:

Notice anything stupid about this? Let's see... who made the playoffs... Boston, Cleveland, Yanks, Angels, Arizona, Colorado, Philly, and CHICAGO??? What a crock!! If Atlanta (3rd best team in the NL East by the way) played in that division, you know they would have been on top EASILY!! No competition!!

I have nothing against Philly anymore, they played their asses off and deserved to make the playoffs. But don't let the Cubs win the Series, or the Pennant for that matter. Or just kick em right out of the playoffs.

If you wanted to, you could let the Padres in, one game down and everything. They are the most deserving. I know... this is basically saying throw away the divisions, and just take the top 4 from the NL and the AL... and so on and so forth. I don't really want that to happen, as that is a little drastic and it is wrong in many monetary ways.

I know that some saps out there like the story of the underdog. Not me. I am bitter and I am pissed that I have to listen to people talk about the Cubs day in and day out everywhere I go. Let's end it quick. If I knew Steve Bartman, I would tell him to go piss on the ivy or something.

BTW, another extremely weird form of my hate and vengefulness is the fact I am thinking about cheering for the Yankees a little. Because if they won the Series everybody would be pissed off, and I am already sick of being the only pissed off person in Central Iowa right now. I wouldn't necessarily be cheering out loud for them, just not rooting against them AS MUCH. For people wondering... Go Tribe!!

carson is so gay

I am going to let this picture do most of the talking. Carson Palmer, QB for the Bengals poses for an ad while getting ready to insert a wiener in his mouth.

I feel sorry for all Bengals fans, especially this one.

a true walk-off

Last night, we had a true walk-off win over the Cubs at Shea. Delgado was walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth to let Jose Reyes walk in to beat the Cubs.

Not exciting news, except for the fact it was over THE CUBS.

That's right. The same team who 70% of the people in Des Moines call their own. HA HA HA. If I was a cooler dude I would've been out at the bar last night rubbing it in.

Actually, I would have went to Drink (The Original Fun Bar). Those freaking followers probably all would have tattooed Mets logos on their foreheads since the Mets won, only to attempt to change them over to Cubby logos if they pull a win out tonight.

eaTme

Read this post on CrossCyed. Actually, if you don't want to get pissy, then don't.

It starts off talking about Tom Dienhart from the Sporting News and the lack of respect he is giving Coach Chizik. He claims to list the best coaches in NCAA without taking program strength into consideration. I call BS, and so does this column. If you couldn't guess by my tone, he has us ranked quite a ways down there.

Then it shows a bunch of posts from aTm idiots talking about the Big 12 and how they should leave for the SEC, or how the Big 12 should get rid of a bunch of the North schools. They may make a little bit of sense, but F*** those guys!! I am following CrossCyed's lead and officially making them my most hated team from the south. FEEL MY WRATH!!!
